Meet our Owners
Long-time members Ronnie Young and Kevin Rampley became owners of CrossFit Holly Springs in February 2019. Ronnie and Kevin have been friends for more than 20 years – before even discovering the power of the CrossFit community – and are committed to helping members reach their fitness goals in the same supportive community the gym has always been known for.
Ronnie serves as Head Coach for the CrossFit Holly Springs team and leads all fitness programming. He has been practicing CrossFit since late 2011 and is a walking example of the difference CrossFit can make in your health and well-being. Ronnie was born in Atlanta, GA and raised in Woodstock. He served in the US Air Force as a B-52 crew chief and has more than 20 years’ experience as a law enforcement officer. He has participated as an athlete in major competitions like 2016 Wodapalooza, 2017 Granite Games and is the 2017 winner of the CrossFit World Police & Fire Games in Los Angeles, CA. When Ronnie is not at the gym, he enjoys spending time with his wife (Lauren) and two boys (Bryson and Collin) who are very active in soccer, basketball and football. He also coaches a local youth basketball and flag football team each spring.
Kevin leads the general operations and maintenance of the gym. He has been practicing CrossFit since 2014 and eventually convinced his wife to join in, too. Kevin was born and raised in North Georgia (Pickens County), was an Army Combat Engineer with the 82nd Airborne, and has served more than 20 years as a law enforcement officer. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys time with his wife (Gaetana) and three kids (Cora, Gavin and William), mostly keeping up with his daughter’s club volleyball schedule and catching a family camping trip when possible.
It’s not uncommon to find the Youngs and Rampleys hanging out together outside the gym, too.
